Not a valid comparison?

According to the website, the latest update contains:
Number of Signatures:
Trojans 20310
Dialer 3839
Worms 1640
Spyware 24
Viruses 0

Since the comment was made about AdAware and Spybot, I have to say that they are going to detect much more spyware than this product. Of course, the product is going to detect things that AdAware and Spybot don't - it's an anti-trojan program, not a spyware remover.

As for the reply regarding spam, I haven't been around much lately to know whether Y4 is a regular or not. If not, I'd be inclined to think it was spam too. It's one thing to put up a list of programs or notify everyone about a program update. It's another thing entirely to put up a post that reads like an ad for a product (and a misleading ad at that). JMHO

I never intented this thread to sound like spam, or to mislead anyone. My intention was to inform others about A2free's availability, and that I found it a very usefull tool that fill's the gap between virus scanners, and antispy programs. Sorry if I mislead anyone.
