I've enjoyed his journalistic style for a long time. His voice was unmistakable. I'll miss it on the radio.

I had never heard of him until I got married
by Josh K / March 1, 2009 3:13 AM PST

My wife is from the south and grew up with his "the rest of the story" broadcasts. I heard him for the first time when visiting her family. He was on our local news channel (Dallas) in the mornings and although his age was showing, I still got a kick out of listening to him.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
