98 start up disk

how can i get a win98 start up floppy disk. i need this to install 98 on my computer. i cant get it to read just from the cd. i need the floppy

It happened to come with my Windows 98 computer, because the shop that installed it made it for me. But it doesn't come with Windows 98; that's only a CD.

The two recommended ways on getting one:
- Make one from Config Panel/Add Remove Software
or
- Download an exe to make one (run the exe, read the documentation) from www.bootdisk.com. Choose the right one!

http://www.bootdisk.com has a few. I use the win98se.exe, run that and it asks for a blank diskette and if I proceed, I have a bootable disketter win98se style.
