96 Jeep Cherokee, No Start

Hi all, I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee 2.5 multiport injection. I got this not running and have had no luck in making it run. When you crank the engine it will fire the spark plugs like you would expect to see it and then it will stop for a bit then start sparking again. I have a full 12 volts to the coil while doing the test. I check ohms and volts at both the cam shaft sensor and the crank shaft sensor and it checked out ok. Sometimes when you let off the key it will try and start maybe hit 1 time on 4 cylinders and thats it. This happens 1 time out of 50. i am not sure if it is getting fuel but it would not start on starting fluid. I do not have a code reader but cycled the key to get check engine light to flash. Results are in this order 12, 11, 55. If 11 is intermittent loss of cmp or ckp, How do you diagnose this problem.
