Wanted to say that it's getting gas so it's not the fuel pump.
I have a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0 straight 6 engine. For the past two months, we have had a hard time starting. It seemed like we would turn it over 5-6 times before it would catch and finally start. Once started, it ran fine. Three days ago, it wouldn't start at all. Cranked it until battery died and hasn't started at all. We've replaced coil pack, distributor, distributor cap, spark plugs, starter, battery, distributor relay, crank shaft positioning sensor, and have disabled and taken out the factory security system, all to no avail. Also checked wires running from battery throughout vehicle, fuses and relays.. we are stumped. Has anyone had this problem with their Jeep and ended up fixing it? I love my Jeep, but holy hell! Thanks in advance for any tips!
