So last weekend we finally blew out our speakers and are ready to throw down for a completely new system. I'm probably looking to get some PA's with a serious receiver/amp. As for the receiver I need to be able to connect my computer along with an ipod. Whatever I can get for $900 that will be loud and not distorted. Let me hear you ideas and if you think something would be better than Pa's throw it out there. Thanks

that looks pretty legit but could you also show me something i could do with some an amp and passive PAs? but i really like that last setup you put up.
You can use any ANY amp to drive them, they are very efficient. You get 98db SPL at 1 Meter with 1 watt of audio power. Two watts of audio power will give you 101db SPL at 1 Meter, 4 watts of audio will give 104db SPL, etc. John
