Model (yes I see it), Transaction numbers, Country (the Samsung rep here is mostly US products) and details.
On big sets in the US I see the maker sending out the techs, so maybe they will do that here.
HOWEVER be sure you are seeing this on HD content. Last week I saw some setup with old standard definition content and it looked terrible and it could be taken as banding/ghosting.
spoke to a Samsung tech last night he told me to do a factory reset...which i thought was pointless because it clear to me that its a sidelit issue ...but anyway did the reset and still have the same issue.
with bright colours such as white on the screen you will see slightly darker 4inch vertical bars on the screen and they are spaced out about 5 or 6 inches appart.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this? or can Samsung just replace the tv. i think sending it out for repare when its such a new tv is dumb becasue of the money that was spent on it.
