64-bit early adopters must proceed with caution. Don't be ripped off.

I can see that with 360 day XP 64 free licenses from www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/downloads/upgrade.asp my bet is that an unscrupulous vendor could and would load XP 64 on a machine and promise a full version later.

Since they can put the owner off for nearly a year, my bet is some will get burned.

Buyer Beware.
