630's voicemails really from the whole year?

by Ben Feldman / December 27, 2007 12:56 PM PST

Just finished listening to today's Cutting Room Floor show (that's episode 630)...

Around 13:15, Molly says that they've been collecting the featured voicemails "all year long," but all of the voicemails that had the episode number featured (quite a few of them!) are from 611 up, meaning from November 27 and up. While I guess we don't technically know when the rest are from...am I the only one who sees this as more than a coincidence? Silly

While I haven't listened yet...

I'm assuming the idea for the voicemail show probably didn't arise until late, and that no system of archiving the voicemails was in place during the early part of the year. Just my guess...

There's no fooling you Ben Feldman

Yes, the idea for this show came later in the year, so the calls are heavily weighted towards the end of the year. But we did grab some from earlier when we could.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
