630 does or does not equal a 650

Ok! I understand you cannot release internal info and I wouldn't expect you to. But all this carefully worded evasion makes me wonder if I been misled and I didn't get what I thought I purchased. ie - A 650 with a matte screen less RSS and less one HDMI.

After spending a considerable amount of money on the 630 I feel I have the right to know what level of technology I purchased. If you are unable to tell me the actual bits of the 630 panel and the actual bits of the 630 video processor then, at the very least, you should be able to tell me if they are the same bit specs as in the 650. Unless, of course, they are not the same.

This info is very important to me. A candid response would be appreciated.
Thanks!

630 = 630

jbhassoc,

I have not been evasive. The A630 series is part of the 6-Series lineup. The 5-Series is not 120Hz. The 6-Series is 120Hz. The A630 is 120Hz, and therefore a 6-Series product.

Those aren't specifications I have access to or speak on. If that's "evasive", then it will have to be. I don't have clearance to dissect the internal processing or components of our sets.

HD Tech- Well that was blunt. Please provide a contact number via my private e-mail so I can escalate my concerns to a customer service manager. If that is not possible I will start at the VP level.
Thanks

jbhassock,

I'm trying to help, sir, but I can't overstep my bounds either.

I don't have access to forum members' email addresses. The proper channel is the following:

Service Related Issues/Managers: 800-SAMSUNG, and they can provide the address or the appropriate escalation department and service manager to address your concerns.
