I don't know if I have to reiterate my previous post to Samsung Facebook,2 1/2 year old Tv dies PC Richards came to check out the TV and tells me the panel is bad to replace Samsung wants $1,080.00 I am so fed up with this 5 posts on your Facebook page and I will continue to inform who ever will listen how poorly you treat your customers and the fact that if you get 2-3 years of life from a $1,600.00 TV consider yourself fortunate

Extended Warrenty

Nothing lasts forever. If it did there would be no warrenty. It's not the answer you want, and I'd be mad too. But with the rate of return on modren electronics, it's advisable on thousand dollar plus items, to get an extended warrenty from the seller. It's a cheaper opition than replacing a panel which can be more dare than replacing the TV, etc.

Like it stated, not the answer you want to hear, but this is covers all brands, not just Samsung.
