Your stock batteries are the usual 300 cycle units. Figure on about a year if you use them daily. At the office we use laptops as desktops and get about 4 years on a battery. Yes at 4 years of desk use the time is about half of new but consider how you use the battery to affect life span.
Hi. I want to replace my 15 inch laptop from HP, (junk), with a Dell 15.6" Inspiron with Intel T4300 Processor. However, I don't know about the battery that comes with it. It's a 6-cell rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Are these any better, worse or about the same as the 'regular' batteries that come with the laptop. I really love this computer. Any advice before I buy? Thanks so much.
