My 58" Samsung plasma cycles off and on when cold(left off over night). When it is trying to come on the remote doesnot work. The picture is totally distorted. After it cycles off and on (3 or 4 times) the picture comes on and it works perfectly until it is turned off for the overnight .

I can't offer a diagnosis but you need to remove it from power till they can fix this issue. To hurry things along, always post model numbers.
