Question

55 inch 4k LED LG TV has line down the middle

Sep 18, 2015 10:51AM PDT

It is one solid black line down the middle of the screen. It goes away if I change the video I am watching. It has happened twice when watching videos on You-Tube. I dont know if its the video I am watching, or the TV itself that has an issue. TV is less than a year old. It goes away if I change the video. I would think that if it where the TV that had an issue, the line would stay there no matter what. Any advice? Help? thanks

Answer
So, only on YouTube?

Then it's an app bug. The thing is, LG didn't write that app so be ready to lose that app.

This is going to get very interesting as apps that came with the TV are found to have no support or fixes since the maker doesn't have the source or team to patch it up. We changed what the TV is. Dell can't fix Windows either.
