Resolved Question

50Hz TV displaying 60 Hz while PS3 is on?

Oct 31, 2011 11:16PM PDT

I recently bought a Samsung LED LCD TV (UA32D5000). It's connected to my PS3 and everytime I use my PS3 the TV shows me that the display setting is on 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. Is this right? Shouldn't be reading 1920 x 1080 "@ 50Hz" considering the maximum refresh rate for this TV is only 50Hz?

Do I have a valid question here or is just my lack of experience with technology.

That makes sense.

I have to say I'm surprised and impressed of the fact that I got a reply from the people at Samsung within hours of posting my question. Good job.

Thanks for the assistance.
