5 days to change Web Host

Mar 9, 2005 2:46PM PST

First, thanks for your help and advice.

Here is my issue: I am helping a friend build a website. I thought I steered her the right way when I told her to get Solor XR with Aplus.net as the host. But one critical thing which I didn't realize she needed was an easy to use e-mail service. She is switching from AOL. She wants to be able to have multiple group lists to which she can e-mail. She also would like to be able to type in the name of the person and have some e-mail addresses appear from which she can choose. She would also like to be able to easily add new e-mail addresses from the point where she gets a new e-mail in her box.

This is for a small not for profit which will have minimal traffic. I need something along the lines of Solo XR but with a better e-mail service.

Ideas of good webhosts that have user friendly e-mail would be much appreciated.

User friendly email

Hi newbiegeek
I peekd at the Solo XR package with Aplus.net and I see they have a control panel with their hosting. I would assume that's a cpanel and it would then offer the option of at least two webmail programs to use. I know the hosting I offer has three webmail options, and also the option for unlimited POP3 email accounts where mail can be setup to download into Outlook Express, Incredimail, Eudora, etc.....

What about the current email available with the hosting did you not like? Or should I say, exactly what features are you looking for?
