5.1 surround sound

My living room is open to my kitchen. Would a 5.1 surround sound system work.

Sure.

If you are saying that the layout of the two rooms means that speaker placement is inconvenient, ie blocking a door or something?

Without knowing the layout I couldn't say how best to setup the speakers, but it will definitely work.

If you are unfamiliar with the ideal placement of 5.1 speakers, you can definitely find info on the net. Once you see where the speakers should be positioned, you can then try and setup it up as close to that within your living rooms unique layout. That's what we all have to do.

I recomend that you..to put the speakers around you, as position as to be..To feel more confortoble, inside of virtualization, or spectaculazion, on real 5.1 *surround sound.
