5.1 Computer Speakers on TV?

Hello,
I would like to know if its possible and how to connect some 5.1 Surround Sound computer speakers to a I think its Scientific Alantica (or something like that) 3200 (I Think) its a Cable box for my Provider (Rogers). Its connections on the back are like this or simular:

0 Digital Out (Black)
0 Audio R Out (White)
0 Audio L Out (Red)
0 Video out (Yellow)

Is it possible to buy something to help me connect them, And if possible also to connect these speakers to an Xbox. I dont want to waste money on 5.1 speakers if I already got good ones, Is this possible?

If the computer speakers are good enough for you...

then by all mean, use it. But it seem like you might need to buy a home theater receiver though or does you tv have 5.1 output?
