As to the reset, try that. If you don't know how, call the maker and follow their instructions. Check your warranty to see if it's in warranty as well.
As to the router when I call on such I use my own known good laptop I carry to test such.
I left a show on pause and left my house for 45 minutes during a fast moving thunderstorm. When I returned, the TV and router said I wasn’t connected to the internet. I’ve rebooted the TV, router and modem. Everything says I have internet all the way to the Ethernet cable but the router and TV say not. I plugged the TV directly to the Ethernet cable and still says no internet. I plug same Ethernet cable to my laptop and I have internet. Can a storm surge knock out the TV’s ability to receive Ethernet signal? Is the TV ruined or can it be reset? I’ve already done a soft reset on the TV but not a hard reset. I’m thinking I should definitely replace the router but I really don’t want to replace the TV. It’s only 1 and a half years old. Help!!
