Question

4k questions on a 3200 x 1800 display

Jul 12, 2014 1:06PM PDT

So my Lenovo Yoga 1 is having issues so I am going to upgrade to the Lenovo Yoga 2 i7 with a 3200x1800 display. I have a gopro that shoots in 4k. I was wondering if the quality will be up to par or will the fact that 3200x1800 is not True 4k, hinder the picture quality.

I know it will not be true 4k but will it look better on the 3200x1800 screen then on my screen now(1600x900)? And will the Lenovo yoga 2 be able to handle the 4k video?

Link to Lenovo Yoga 2 Specs below. Thanks for your advice/help!

As to the handle issue, folk are debating if 4K displays can handle 4K so that debate will go on. No answer to that one!

it won't look as good as it will when the industry starts producting 4K content. Look at the TV industry now the industry supports HD the stations aren't broadcasting in 4k yet.
