My pc would struggle at 4k gaming but when the next 2000 series gpus come out I already have the cash to upgrade.

i7 6700
Windows 10
250gb & 500gb samsung evo 850 ssd

A consummate increase in PC GPU power. For console gaming you need the newer PS4 or XBox One.

So without the brute gaming power this could be an exercise in frustration.
