Question

47lb6300 wireless sounds sync

Feb 28, 2016 2:10PM PST

My lg sound bar, which I picked specifically for the 2 optical ports, had a subwoofer fire..... It was replaced with a newer model, which only has one input.

I have an echo plugged into the optical port and am trying to use the wireless option for Netflix and such direct on the tv, but there is no quick switchover in the tv menu or dumb remote and it never auto connects to the sound bar.

Example, watching cable dvr (echo) with sound bar on optical. Change sound bar to lg tv, switch tv to Netflix, tv does not pickup sound bar connection.
User has to click home, then settings, then advanced, then sound menu, then device selection, then choose sound bar name, then click back on tv screen. 7 clicks to get to what should be an auto setting or at least a remote button.

Any ideas or settings I'm missing to force this connection to happen? Any programmable buttons on the smart remote?

I think the smart remote is missing at least a sound option button and the old energy saving button. These have to be available with less than 6 menus.
