The lowly i5-2500 could drive a trio of video cards.
Even your post shows the GPU at over 95% so there is no question here about the bottlenecking.
-> Just recently we had a long discussion about low GPU performance and the GPU appeared to be in the slower PCIe slot. But a GPU at 95+% is showing that it's pretty maxed out.
I have a 4790k OC'DA TO 4.6 GHZ,I REPLACED MY ASUS GTX 980 TI with an Evga gtx 1080 ftw.....i ran starwars battlefront and my gpu usage was between 95 to 98%..it nver hit 99 or 100% .i was told as long as you gt --100% out of the gpu thn youre not botlenecking....but i nver seen 99 or 100%,is this a problem? should i OC the 4790k to 4.7 or 4.8( which i can i just chose not to) reason being i use 1.3 volts at 4.6,to ge -to- 4.7 it- want 1.3 volts, and 4.8 wants like 1.35 or so,i figured why beat t-he chip up more for just 200 more megahertz, the colling is fine,it satys at like 70 iaaaash,i just wante-d some experienced opinions if i could, thanks.
