Question

46" LCD start up problems

I have a Samsung 46" LCD model LN46A530P1FXZA that is less then two years old. When turning on the TV, the screen often goes black and the channel numbers will scroll in the upper left corner of the screen. I cannot shut off the TV with the remote or manually. I must pull the plug and re-install it. The screen then gets snowy with no picture. I can then select the HDMI source and restart it. Comcast was here twice and even replaced the Cable/DVR box. No change. Sometimes when watching the TV, the picture will go out and behave in the same manner. This is the second Samsung 46" TV I have had in 4 years. The first one needed a new mother board after one year. Then it broke again and Samsung replaced the warranted TV with the present one. Warranty is now expired. Can this be fixed?
