I think the seller should answer. If they don't, shop elsewhere.
This is mostly a consumer to pro forum but when you get into the 1% of rare areas even I pick up the phone and ask my supplier or maker.
Hi,
I need to buy a Direct attach 40G QSFP+ to 4x10G SFP+ Cable that may be used to connect two FPGA boards.
I can find reasonably priced cables e.g. here:https://www.sfpcables.com/qsfp-cable-cab-qsfp-4sfp-p1m-30
However the cables are usually "branded". Is it important from the point of view of connection to the MGT in Xilinx (or maybe Intel/Altera)?
What is the safest choice - Cisco, Juniper, Brocade? Which of them are best documented?
TIA & Regards,
Wojtek
