I don't see anyone producing any set that claims "long life." If you research BAD CAPS you find that a basic component has fallen prey to counterfeiting and worse.
120Hz was a step along the way to 240Hz without much to write it was that much better. 240Hz was needed to get the 3D working proper but I digress.
I'd consider a nice enough 60Hz HDTV and take out a 3 or more warranty.
hey guys, im looking for a 40-42 inch tv sized tv with 1080p 120hz speed preferably. My main concern with the TV is that i want it to last me more than four years or so I want a very reliable TV. I do not need any shinny bells and whistles like web apps, but i want a really good picture for a really good price. I would use the TV a lot to play my 360 and i would possibly eventually get a bluray or something. Basically i want the best possible picture for the best possible price. Thanks guys
