Ever since Windows 10 was released Microsoft has brought a number of updates for it. There's been the Anniversary Update, the Creators Update and recently the company unveiled the new Fall Creators Update. These updates has brought a numerous cool feature to the operating system and there are several hidden features and tricks that you might have missed out.

Well! that's we will be talking about today.

Automatically Lock Your windows 10 PC
There are situations when you get away from your laptop to do any work or grab a cup of coffee but you forget to lock your laptop. Well! You wouldn't want anyone to Would you? This is where cool new Dynamic Lock feature of windows 10 comes in the play. Dynamic lock of windows 10 automatically locks your PC when you are away. You have to enable it by first pairing your phone to your PC via Bluetooth. Then head to Settings go to Accounts and then go to Sign-in option. Here scroll down below and then check the option under Dynamic lock. Now whenever you move away from your laptop with your phone your laptop will automatically be locked. Do note that this feature is only available in Creators Update.


Set Up and Schedule Night Light in windows 10 :
If you use your laptop for long period of time and use it also during night you might have felt discomfort in your eyes. That's because of blue light in the display. Windows 10 now offer a solution called Night Light . Just head to windows Settings go to System then Display you should see the Night Light option here. Just enable it and you can see the display becomes more warmer at night.  You can also set up the schedule for the night light.

Sticky Notes with Insight in windows 10
You must have used sticky notes for your windows PC. It is a very intelligent feature. Just open Sticky Notes in windows 10 using  Cortana. Go to the Menu and go to Settings by clicking the gear icon and enable the insight option. If you write a note like "Get the car checked tomorrow" you will  see tomorrow word highlighted. You can just click on it and save the note as a reminder. Cortana will ask for the time of the reminder and the reminder will be saved. You can even note down phone numbers and dial it through sticky notes.


Enable Bash Shell and use Linux Commands in windows 10 :
Microsoft windows 10 brought some great news for Linux geeks when it announced the special version of the Bash Shell. For using it in windows 10 you have to enable it. First go to Settings then go to Update and Security go to For Developers option and enable Developer Mode. Then go to Control Panel then Programs then Programs and Features. Then click on the Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane. In the new window that open up enable the option that says Windows 10 Subsystem for Linux(Beta). Then you will have to restart your PC. Once your PC is restarts, search for Bash which will open up command prompt window. Let the downloading process takes place. Once its done you will be able to use Bash shell as if you were on a computer with Ubuntu.
