3GB or 4GB DDR3 Ram ?

I'm customizing a Dell Studio 14 Laptop on there website, which im goin to buy soon. It has a Core-i3 processor, 1gb Mobility Radeon HD 5450 and by default 3Gb DDR3 Ram.
Is there any need to upgrade it to 4Gb ram .
Also are there any issues in using RAM lesser than 4gb on 64bit Windows 7 home premium.

Well most likely that laptop will come with

a 32 bit OS. If you want 32 bit then stay with the 3 gig if you want 64 bit go for 4 gig. Ram isn't that expensive for 2 gig chips.
