.3g2 videos

I sent a video from my LG phone to my computer, and it came in a .3g2 format, is there a way to convert it to something that windows media player can open? Only quicktime opens this.

3g2 video playback solution
Dec 26, 2007 1:25PM PST

I am a consultant but ran into the same probolem when trying to get a video stream playback off of my Samsung cell phone. Well, I researched it and found that if you have QuickTime it will play the vidro 3g2 just fine. If you have quicktime onboard or download it for free with an Itunes installation, set the video in your file associations for 3gpp or 3g2 type files to use the QuickTime Player.

As a test, before you make the association, you can use your File Manager(explorer) and instead of clicking on the file, right click and use the "Open With" option and choose the QuickTime program you have on your computer.
