Question

3G on Dialup?

Feb 16, 2014 2:20AM PST

Hello, the little connections box at the bottom right is showing a 3G connection available through my modem, and I'm wondering where it came from, if it's legitimate or some sort of malware that'll run up my phone bill, or what?

I've got a HP 2000-299WM notebook with Win7 HP, and I'm using a Rosewill RNX-56USB external modem, with Centurylink basic local service

I would not read much into this. Any other issue?

that it was suddenly there.

thought maybe it was the result of some bonus crapware that came with a free download.
