3d web application

Hi guys,
1st sry if that is not the right place.My company need to build a 3d app for websites, but not using flash because it have to be readable for apple products as well. The app must be something like "taking different parts of LEGO constructor and building our own design".I'm not a developer, i just need to research the method of how to do it with a team of developers.So can You help me with:Where to starts from? What apps should we use to biuld it?Are they code apps and design apps?What languages and etc.?

If your company wants it for their own website, why not ask www.binki.es/ (it's a company owned by the brother of my son-in-law, that's how I came to know them) to do it for you. Look at the Contents part of their website to see if it might be what you're looking for.

If you're a competitor, I'm afraid they won't help you.
