3D Printer fire. Or don't let robots run unattended.

Mar 23, 2016 10:08AM PDT
http://hackaday.com/2016/03/21/ask-hackaday-mrrf-edition-3d-printers-can-catch-fire/ is a story about a fire in one 3D printer.

It's something I've heard of before where the 3D printer owner will start a print and since it can take hours they leave it unattended.

Plenty of lessons to be learned here. Mostly old ones.

1. Don't leave your robots and such alone.
2. If you must do this, place it so it if halts and catches fire, the damage is contained to just that space.
