3D Kit

Has anyone purchased the 3d kit for a Samsung plasma TV? If so, does it work? Any information would be appreciated. I purchased a plasma (PN50A550) rather than an LCD because of the 3d capability. Thanks in advance

I have had some limited experience with the 3-D kit.

Were there specific questions you had regarding the technology?

Many questions..

In reply to: Limited...

Yes I do, thanks. Since the TV must be connected to my PC will this work through a HDMI/DVI connection or the D Sub/ audio cable connection? Also, will the wireless adapter work for this unit or must it be hard wired to the PC?
By the way, what is the 3D appearance on the screen? I'm still somewhat dubious of the 2D to 3D conversion. I understand reading information from Samsung that more 3D content will be available later this year. Is it worth getting now or should I wait? Thanks

Tri Def...

In reply to: Many questions..

The games, I'm honestly not too sure about.

I do know that for DVDs, you have to use a computer and the software from Tri-Def. (You can't use a standard DVD player not built into the computer). I haven't not received information on weather or not it will work with Blu-Ray if you had a Blu-Ray drive.

Our technology is a platorm, and it's the software that regulates what is in 3-D.

As far as waiting or not, that's something I can't determine.

Hope that helps.
