Stew,
The problem with any 3D, whether the old Red-Blue or the newer Polarized, is that you need to wear glasses to enjoy it. No many people care to wear these glasses (I would if they came with a big nose and moustache) so the horrendous cost of creating a movie in 3D just for a few of us old farts isn't worth it. Did you everr see "House of Wax" in 3D with Vincent Price? Great effects. How about the lousy horror movie "13 Ghosts" in 3D? Not so many years ago I remember that John Wayne's son (Michael?) had plans to re-transfer Hondo in 3D, but I don't think it ever went anywhere because of the cost.
Hey Stew, we had your rain yesterday, but it's beautiful now in the Los Angeles area. I think the rain clouds are just collecting over your place.![]()

I know the old technology works well using the cheap cardboard glasses with 35m.m. film. The last movie I saw at the theater was I think friday the 13 and it was awsome, So since our new hi-def t.v. give us about 35 m.m. film quality WHY WOULDN'T IT WORK? Especially Discovery h.d. theater in 1080I Just think a lion attackes and kills me so you wouldn" have to read my posts. stewart
