Yes. Look at dvspot.com for example video to compare. BUT you are still looking at TV Quality 480 or less line video. When put on a PC screen, people will complain.
3CCD will look better for color, but until you move to HD DVCAM, I can assure you that the line count is terrible for some.
I recently returned a Sony HC20 camcorder. The images were just awful and pixellated. I was told the problem is that single CCD camcorders produce poor quality images. Im thinking of getting a Panasonic PVGS120 which has 3CCDs and is under 1,000. Any thoughts?
