350z or g35 coupe

I would go with the g35. It just seems like the more sensible choice. Sure its a bit porkier than the 350z and loses some handling, but you gain that with a some what useful backseat (lunch breaks) and a more spruced up interior. Furthermore, the g35 fits the bill as something sporty and luxurious. If you want something that resembles speed get the 350z, but if you are willing to sacrifice a bit of performance for comfort, the g35 not only looks better it, but is more practical as far as coupes go.

You are right that the G35 is more practical than the 350Z, which could be a deciding factor. However, the 350Z is a bit more fun. First, the 350Z has a sportier look, and second, you can get it with a convertible top, something not available on the G35. I was just out driving a G37 Coupe, which is a really good-looking car. It looks almost as sporty as the 350Z. But the handling on the G37 Coupe wasn't spectacular--it's got a lot of power but it needs more grip. I think the 350Z can hold a corner better. And just to throw in some idle speculation, wouldn't it be great if Nissan put the G37's engine into the 350Z, so you'd have a 370Z. Now we're talking fun.

For the all around better car, I'd get the G35 coupe or the new G37 (coupe version of the new G35). First off, you get a better interior and better luxury. The G35 is critically acclaimed to be the 3-series killer because of the bang for your buck.

I think the G35 coupe looks better than the 350Z too.
