You do realize that none are on par with PC browsers? That is, most crash on video sites.

I have recently purchased the LG 32LN570B Smart Tv. I think its the same as the 32LN5700, but for Canada as it has a Canadian angle in its operations and apps.
Firstly, Smart Share.
This program, at best, is sloppy in its code. Refresh continuously got stuck at '(2
54%', crashed regularly, and I found it was a pain.
I run Win 7 x64, and although you could simply turn on file sharing, with the DLNA built into Windows, you couldn't really direct which folder you wanted to share. I am not a fan of 'sharing' anything as this seems to always lead to further problems down the road.
I installed Plex media home. It's free, and was previously for Mac, but now available for Windows. Although it tries to get you to sign up, you can bypass all of this, and once familiar with the settings, set it up so it isn't connecting with Plex home site. It has a nice interface, you can specify folders you want available on your Smart TV, and after you get all that set up, go to your Windows 'Network and Sharing center' and make the necessary changes to ensure it operates on Private (Home) Network only. That is, I 'un ticked' the Public Firewall settings. Be sure DLNA server is ticked for Private, and go thru ALL the advanced settings in Plex to ensure information isn't being sent back to them, etc...you know the drill...
Now, Smart Share. I do notice that on occasion the TV looses connection with the Plex Media Server. This is the TV. Turn it off, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. Relatively painless. Now, go to Smart Share and 'Connect with PC'. Hilite the Plex Media Home and click OK on the remote.
This all worked for me. Overall I am happy with the TV. But seriously LG, a couple things:
If your gonna put a browser in a TV, make it a BROWSER that can do what its supposed to do. I notice that at Discovery.ca, when I watch something there, the video is one quarter of the screen. It will not go to Full Screen. Apparently, this is due to memory limitations.
LG, memory is CHEAP. Fix that.
If the YouTube App can run 45 minutes, then so should watching something thru the Web Browser.
Allow alternative Browsers at the LGAPPSTV store. I find the store is extremely limited in what is available.
The Camera App. With standard generic drivers now the staple of webcams, why can't I use a Generic WebCam? Why an LG 'special' Camera? Any webcam should do.
The TV:
Great Picture, and some good options for backlight, and sound. I do wish it had a designated sound output (Left and Right RCA) as I use the headphone output to a Altec Lansing 2.1 sound system. But that's me...cheaper than a $25 Optical output cable.
For those that have purchased the mentioned model of the LG Smart Tv, Enjoy it !! I use it to its fullest.
