327w Westell Router and Verizon DSL

by pennteller / September 23, 2008 4:33 AM PDT

I am trying to set up a webcam (Logitech) and need to set port forwarding in the Westell 327W modem/router.

All research says the model I have was made specifically for Verizon and I should contact them for tech help.

Verizon says this topic falls under advanced tech help and I will need to pay. ;-o(

Any one know of a way to open ports or port forwarding on a Westell 327W modem/router?

I've been to the site but can't afford to pay for it right now. Cash flow problem: there is no flow.

The free side data on the 327 Westell D90 327W15-06 is
nothing at all remotely similar to what I see when I go to the admin pages

You need to catch up on the terminology and apply that to your 327w. While I own one it's in the basement not in use. I keep it around to loan out when a friend must test it out.

Sorry I can use generic terms but as you need to catch up on routing terms you may want to go easy and just put one machine into the DMZ.

I am trying to connect my modem to a dvd player using an ethernet cable so that I can stream movies. The dvd player will pick up a dynamic ip address. Can anyone help me?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
