32-bit Vista vs. 64-bit Vista for older PC games

Aug 1, 2008 3:26AM PDT

I am in the market for a new gaming computer and I am unsure if the 64-bit version of Vista would be able to run my older PC games such as Call of Duty, Jedi Academy, and Battlefield 2. Thanks!

Most likely it will. They may or may not need some patches applied, but odds are they'll work just fine.

If in doubt, use Google. Type in the name of the game and something like "vista 64-bit" and see what comes up.

I've no idea about Jedi Academy. I have the other 2 games working fine in my system.

Mine is a Vista Ultimate 64-bit service pack 1.
