Question

3000ft/1km wifi or cable possible?

Jul 22, 2016 1:41AM PDT

Hi

I have a 200mb internet connection and would like to have a friend join me playing online games. He lives about 1km away from my house and doesn't have a reliable internet connection.

Is there a way of getting him to use my connection? Would an ethernet cable from my router to his work? Or maybe some wifi device if such exists?

Please help.

Thank you.

None of the 2 are possible. He should get a better Internet connection or come to your house (a good friend is always welcome, isn't it?) - or you to his house - to play. 1 km is a 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes on bicycle.

While could research this with a google like 5 mile WiFi it's not a sure thing and the cost to setup is easy to find out.
