Question

30 Day Trial for PowerBot vacuum

Jul 11, 2017 9:11AM PDT

Does anyone out there have documentation regarding a recent (April-June 2017) 30 day trial offer for a Samsung PowerBot vacuum. I ordered one on May 4th online. I always print my order and any advertised specials when I order online. I cannot find my printouts and have looked in every conceivable spot. I received the vacuum and it did not work out for my purposes so I called the customer service number on the packing slip to get a Return Authorization. The CSR took my information, did not question the 30 day trial offer and told me that I would receive a return shipping label directly from FedEx within 1-1 1/2 weeks. I never received the shipping label. I then received an email from Samsung ECommerce stating that since I did not return the item within 14 days they could not accept my return. I responded stating that I had never received the shipping label. I got no response from them. I sent another email as a followup to my previous one and received no response. In the meantime, I am getting statements for my Samsung credit card (which is now overdue). Now, over a month after my first phone call, I called the Customer Service Number again. After numerous extended times on hold, the CSR tells me she needs to transfer me to ECommerce. The transfer took over 30 minutes (yes, I stayed on the line) just to be told they never had a 30 day trial on any of their products and unless I can come up with documentation stating that special, they cannot help me. I went back through my emails and found the original order confirmation and shipping confirmation from Samsung but there is nothing on either one stating the 30 day trial. I asked the CSR why the first CRS from my original call did not question the 30 day trial offer and immediately processed my information. She stated that she did not know. She did process another request for a return due to unusual circumstances but told me that she doubted anything would come of it.
I am hoping that someone on this forum has some type of documentation adverising the 30 day trial offer. I would not have ordered the vacuum without the offer because I had never used a robotic vacuum before and was hesitant on their performance. I am frustrated with myself for not filing the original documents in a place that they would not get lost or misplaced. I did think that a large company such as Samsung would be more accommodating to their customers but after reading some of the reviews, obviously I was wrong.
If anyone out there has the needed advertisment or documentation about the 30 day trial, please let me know. I will be most grateful.
Thank you.
