2x Converter

Hi, I have a Canon EOS400D with a Tamron 80-300mm Lens. Can I add a 2x Converter to increase the power and, if so, what might be the best prodict?

Tried a few.

I no longer use mine.

Usually Canon will not answer a question about a non Canon lens.
Usually the lens maker is the only one to know if it is truly compatible.
I suggest you ask Tamron, and they will likely need to know the serial number of the lens.
And
They may have to make an adjustment to the lens.
