I presume miniDV tape based... check the ratings area at camcorderinfo.com...
Canon ZR800... is about as close as I can get.
For the past few months I've been filming with this little "camera" that supposed to take pictures (taking video with a picture camera? dont ask, i imrovise A LOT) , and its breaking down. With $280 I'm lookin for a camcorder that will take worthwhile footage and audio. Here's what I'm looking for:
*Either a Mini DV or HDD. Mini DV's Ive worked with before, but HDD's play back easier and that's what I like. BUt some have advantages over the other that I'm not sure of.
*Something with good audio, preferably a microphone jack so I don't have to rely off of the built-in mircophone.
*Good video quality, stable when zoomed in real close on a subject. Fast zooming in and out too.
*In $250 - $350 price range.
*Good amount of memory, if HDD type.
Any suggestions? Would really appriciate it.
