2016 Samsung un65ks8000

To update or not?
My tv picture is perfect !!!
I still have 1155 original firmware,
and have had multiple opportunities to update different software.
Should I update?
Is there any chance this will adversly affect my perfect picture?
Samsung says no, but I only trust CNET.
If so, what are the benifits to update?

PS. Internet stories claim detrimental effects.

In my case, I update since I can roll with the changes and know how to yelp at the makers.

But in your case, you have no reason to let it update.

I had no issues updating mine

FWIW, I have the 55” & 60” versions of this model.
Both are updated to latest firmware without issues.
