Sorry, but if you read the license for AVG Free (http://free.avg.com/us-en/avg-anti-virus-7-licence-agreement-eula) that states it's for home use only. So we can't discuss installing it on a school network.

Hello folks
I am running a school network of 7 computers. I am now trying to replace the old anti-virus program on two of the computers with the AVG Free 2012.
On one of those computers the program was installed without any problems, but on the other I have problems.
Procedure:
I have downloaded the AVG Anti-virus Free 2012 and saved it on the network, where its available for all computers.I double-click the file and the installation starts as normal, with initializing, accept agreement and so on.It performs all right until the "Install progress" starts. When it has downloaded about 16 MB the file transfer stops.
The program does not respond and it has to be stopped with Ctrl+alt+delete.I have tried it several times without success.
Before the installation I disabled the Windows firewall and the Windows defender. I also uninstalled the previous antivirus program, Avasti.
I have uploaded the following log files: avginfo.id; EventApplications; EventSystem; mfa-xxx.log; msi-xxx.log and msinfo.nfo.They are available at https://rapidshare.com/files/737578762/Logfiles.7z
Please give me a hint about how to proceed.Regards Lennart Sandqvist ![]()
