2012 VW Beetle Turbo. Vehicle will not start.

2012 VW Beetle Turbo. Vehicle will not start. When I turn the key the ignition seems to be turning over, but the engine does not crank. The EPC, check engine, and low alternator voltage dash light come on when I attempt to start it. Any ideas? Thanks.
