2008 Toyota Sienna AUX for Ipod

Dec 5, 2008 4:17AM PST

I have the 2008 Sienna with the Aux jack for Ipod playback, and it has worked great until today. Now, it plays only in mono instead of stereo when I connect my Ipod. It worked fine a few days ago. The speakers still play in stereo on FM stations, and the Ipod still plays in stereo when I listen with earphones. Any ideas?

Maybe the problem is the cable?

It's quite possible that the culprit is the cable. Is it safe to assume that you've tested another connection?

Also, is the sound only coming out of one channel with the other side blank, or is is coming from both sides, but only in mono?

You probably have a mono cable.
