Did you read "Hackers Remotely Kill a Jeep on the Highway—With Me in It" in the news Tuesday? The part where Andy Greenberg writes ...
' ... The result of their work was a hacking technique—what the security industry calls a zero-day exploit—that can target Jeep Cherokees and give the attacker wireless control, via the Internet, to any of thousands of vehicles.'
Or "Car-hacking expert urges Jeep owners to install security update"?
Maybe that's what's wrong?

The best of luck finding out what the problem is,

A few times now my Jeep wouldn't start. Would just make a grinding sound. Someone told me to ban on the alternator oulley while turning the key and it works every time. I told my mechanics who replaced the starter only for the same thing to happen within the week. Everyone says banging on the pulley has nothing to do with it, but it worked EVERYTIME. Any ideas what could be wrong if not the starter?
