does anyone know when the 2006 edition will be available for purchase in retail stores?
I don't want to renew online, I want the boxed CD.

What you need to do is...

ask in whatever store you want to buy it from OR keep watching on this link -

Depending on your choice you can either purchase it (when it becomes available because currently it is a version 5) as a download (which you didn't want) or as a package where you can receive the boxed version in the mail (or however it is shipped).

They even have a customer service link where you might ask them when they plan on releasing any new version.
