2004 jeep cherokee a/c makes noises

our jeep has 45000 miles. a/c repaired 2 times at the dealer as it would not blow cool air on passenger side. newest development: when shutting car down - the a/c system "growls"..like it is ready to up-chuck. this happens a few minutes after shut down...does it if a/c was on or when it was off. at least a/c works..but annoying.

anyone have this growling problem ? could it be a loose electrical connection that tries to move the 'blend doors" ?
